Microscan Debuts New Machine Vision Camera at The ASSEMBLY Show 2017

Microscan will run the first public demonstration of the new HAWK series machine vision camera at The ASSEMBLY Show in Rosemont, IL. The new development is poised to significantly exceed its predecessors in speed and power and will complete the Microscan’s product line for machine vision.

RENTON, WA, September 19, 2017Microscan, a global technology leader in barcode, machine vision, verification, and lighting solutions, announces that it will demonstrate a new machine vision camera of the HAWK family - 4 times faster and more powerful than anything that has come before it, from Booth #2046 at The Assembly Show, from October 24-26, 2017 in Rosemont, IL.

A soon-to-be-released high-performance machine vision camera, HAWK MV-4000 is the “golden mean” in Microscan’s suite of machine vision products. The HAWK MV-4000 fits in the product line between miniature MicroHAWK MV smart cameras and PC-Based Multi GigE Camera systems, meeting the needs of manufacturers and users of equipment looking for rugged, fast and extremely powerful hardware.

Another headliner on display at Microscan’s booth is the industry-recognized MicroHAWK – one single hardware solution for automatic identification and machine vision that is capable to perform any task.  From barcode reading to inspection, to verification, MicroHAWK is known in the market for its incredible speed and power in the most compact size, as well as its agile and flexible configuration making it a perfect fit for any embedded applications. The recently released Ultra High Density Autofocus configuration for the MicroHAWK platform is equipped with a fully-integrated liquid lens, and can decode symbols as small as 2 mil. The TrueAutofocus system automatically selects the optimal settings right out of the box, providing best in class performance. The presentation, titled “Ensure 100% Traceability and Quality of Your Products using Microscan Automatic Identification and Machine Vision Systems”, will be held at the Assembly Show on October 26, from 1:20 pm to 2:00 pm as part of agenda of the Learning Theater Presentations.
